    Midwest Living magazine ranked Saugatuck/Douglas #5 on its list of top vacation destinations in the U.S. The National Trust for Historic Preservation selected it as one of the "Dozen Distinctive Destinations" in the U.S. Together, these twin communities form "The Art CoastTM of West Michigan" - reflecting an artistic heritage that spans more than 100 years and is still going strong today.
