What brought you to Grand Rapids and why have you stayed?

I was born near Grand Rapids and stayed here because it has the values of a small town, but the amenities of a larger city.

What do you think is Grand Rapids' most unique meeting venue?

I love history and rooms that are brought back to life, so I like the restored Ballroom @ CityFlatsHotel.

What is your favorite annual event in Grand Rapids?

I enjoy ArtPrize because my whole family spends quality time together during those 3 weeks.

What is your favorite destination you've been to and why did you go there?

I do not have any one favorite. I like destinations that provide quality attractions that engage our family in history, hands-on activities, events and things to do each day.

What is your favorite Grand Rapids place for lunch?

I absolutely love Mexican food and so I really enjoy going to Cinco de Mayo downtown to munch on their chips and salsa.
