“Downtown Market can seat up to 100 in our greenhouse and about 150-170 comfortably in our banquet space,” Tupper said. “We house dozens of small, local businesses so when you host your event here, you’re really becoming involved in a larger community focused on supporting local.”

Need a larger venue? Frederik Meijer Gardens can accommodate up to 1,000 when utilizing the entire building for the ultimate exclusive event. For those interested in slightly smaller affairs, they are happy to accommodate that too.

“Our Grand Atrium can comfortably seat 400 with plenty of room for a dance floor romantically placed under the Chihuly Chandelier,” said Annemarie Smartz, hospitality sales manager for Frederik Meijer Gardens. “We also offer rentals of the greenhouses for a true garden experience and hold wedding ceremonies outdoors including the new Richard & Helen DeVos Japanese Garden and the Sculpture Park Waterfall.”
