Moderator: Ryan McKnight, AvaSure
Born and raised in Holland, Ryan received his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law. In 2015, he became a licensed United States Customs Broker and is currently the Project Lead at AvaSure, providing In-House Legal Counsel.


Cedric Duclos, Hutchinson Worldwide
Born and raised in France, Cedric Duclos, came to the United States to complete his education. He received his MBA from Grand Valley State University in 2007 and is currently serving as the President & CEO at Hutchinson Global AV & BD Systems.

Brian Gill, Alticor Inc.
Brian Gill is an international attorney recognized as an expert in Russian law. He has taught courses on the European Union, the World Trade Organization and has lived in four former-Soviet countries. Currently Brian serves in the international legal department at Alticor, where he supports the Europe-India-Africa region.

Gerry Simmons, Grand Valley State University
Dr. Gerry Simons received his Bachelor of Social Science in Money, Banking, and Finance from the University of Birmingham in his native England. He followed with his M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Kansas. He is currently a professor of International Economics and Economic Development at GVSU.
