Grand Valley State University Photography Senior Thesis Exhibition: Phosphorescent

ALLENDALE, MI – Sponsored by The School of Communications, the Photography Program is honored to present Phosphorescent, a collaborative photographic exhibition highlighting nine individual photographers’ artistic visions, which explores imaginative emissions of light.

Please join us Thursday December 1st, 5:00-7:00 PM, for a free, public, celebratory reception and public reveal of their illuminating works at Phosphorescent. The photographers will be available to discuss their work and artistic processes. Look into their creative minds and see how their experiences have shaped the exhibited work. Dress is casual and light refreshments will be served during the opening viewing. All displayed images are available for purchase.

Phosphorescent is on view November 22nd through December 10th in the Performing Arts Center Gallery during the hours 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Thursdays. A concluding, special showing will occur on Saturday, December 10th from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. This event is free and open to the public.

The photographers showcased in Phosphorescent include: Sue Ackerman, Kristen Hollingsworth, Amanda Lautner, Brianna Overkamp, Autumn Perez, James Redmond, Nicole Trost, Chelsea Whitaker, and Mallory Wolfgram.
