GRPM: Chair Camp (Grades K-4)

What motivates us to use design and how has it affected products, both for the betterment and determent to society?  Carla Hartman, Education Director of the Eames Office and granddaughter of Charles and Ray Eames, will present her program titled “Chair Camp.” Ms. Hartman introduces students to the Eames family, creativity, and elements of design. Students will also use recycled objects and die-cut miniature chair forms to create their own chair. Chairs created by students will be on display at the Museum through the duration of ArtPrize.
