Raising Strong Black Men Panel Discussion: A Response to Between the World and Me

Ta-Nehisi Coates' timely book raises a number of important questions. Panelists will openly discuss the struggle that Black boys face in our country and our community. What does it mean to raise a strong Black man? What challenges to Black men encounter? How do we prepare our sons to handle stereotypes and navigate an unfair world? How can we as parents, educators and friends create a community where Black men thrive? Panelists include Jamon Alexander, Dr. Andre Fields, Tony Jolliffi, and Joe Jones. These leading men in our community will share their advice and experiences.
