    King Tut

    King Tut in Grand Rapids


    The Discovery of King Tut, makes its Great Lakes Region debut in Grand Rapids on May 16, 2015. Visitors will experience what it was like for Howard Carter and his team when they first discovered the tomb of Tutakhamun in 1922.

    Featuring more than 1,000 scientifically produced recreations hand-crafted by Egyptian artisans, The Discovery of King Tut recreates the awe and marvel of the moment of discovery. Visitors enter an overwhelming treasure trove to have an unbelievable glimpse into the greatest archaeological discovery of the 20th century, Tutankhamun's tomb.

    Tickets on sale now. Adults tickets are $18, children ages 3-17 are $13 and include admission to museum and a carousel ride. Museum members will receive discounted admission.
