Live Music

Grand Rapids is hosting great concerts from a wide range of popular performers in the next few months:

Van Andel Arena. Reserve your seats ASAP for these hot-selling shows in downtown's 12,000-seat concert facility:  Red Hot Chili Peppers (May 26), Roger Waters' "The Wall" (June 6), and Barry Manilow (June 14).

The Intersection. This downtown nightclub hosts almost nightly shows by national touring acts. Shows through June include Jerrod Niemann, Soulfly, Slaughterhouse, Lil Wyte, Christina Perri and Rachel Platten.

Performing Arts

If you like your music accompanied by great acting, costumes and sets, you're in the right place. Get your tickets now:

Broadway Grand Rapids. Enjoy New York-caliber productions in downtown's DeVos Performance Hall. "The Addams Family," comes to town May 22-26, while "Cats" returns for a special engagement June 15-17.

Circle Theatre. Opens its 60th anniversary season with the musical "Cabaret" May 10-12, 16-19, 20 & 23-26. The hilarious hunting camp comedy "Escanaba in da Moonlight" takes over June 7-9, 13-16, 17 and 20-23.

Forest Hills Fine Arts Center. See the classic Mel Brooks musical comedy "Young Frankenstein" for a one-night-only production May 31.

Grand Rapids Civic Theatre. Everyone will enjoy the classic musical farce, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" (June 1-17).

The Grammy-nominated Grand Rapids Symphony presents "Heavens Above, Earth Below" a made-in-Grand Rapids program including the world premiere of a tribute to Betty Ford (May 18-19).
