Touring Acts

The Summer Concert Series at Meijer Gardens hosts some of the world's finest and best-known musicians in an incredible outdoor amphitheatre. Be sure to check out their lineup.

Party in the Park at Fifth Third Ballpark features Hot Chelle Rae and Kathy Tiz with special guest My Crazy Girlfriend. July 23.

Multi-Grammy winning crooner Michael Bublé comes to Grand Rapids in support of his new album, "To Be Loved." At Van Andel Arena, July 25.

Bronx-born rapper Fat Joe comes to Devos Place for a live performance on July 26.

Soul Train Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Keith Sweat brings his R&B stylings to DeVos Performance Hall for "One Night at the Sweat Hotel," August 2.

International singing superstar Katy Perry brings her "Prismatic World Tour" to Van Andel Arena on August 10.

Berlin Raceway presents two huge music events:
@ Berlin: Detroit hip-hop artist Mike Posner with Far East Movement, SoMo, Jake Miller, Big SMO, Adrian Butler, DJ Internio and DJ Jason Veeder (August 15)
Moosefest: American Idol finalist Kellie Pickler plus Josh Thompson, Brothers Osborne, Austin Webb and Kelleigh Bannen (August 16)

Fifth Third Ballpark, home of the West Michigan Whitecaps, hosts three big summer concerts:
• Country music star Craig Morgan, August 26
• Goo Goo Dolls & Daughtry with special guests Plain White T's, August 27
• Theory of a Deadman and Halestorm, August 28

The Black Keys, a six-time Grammy-award winning blues-rock duo, return to Van Andel Arena with opening act Cage the Elephant on September 7.

The Eagles, one of the most successful bands in rock history, bring their "History of the Eagles" tour to Grand Rapids on September 8.

Chick Corea, a 20-time Grammy-winning jazz legend, opens the 2014-15 season at St. Cecilia Music Center. September 18.

Free Outdoor Concerts

Wyoming Concerts in the Park is a free outdoor concert series on Tuesday evenings from June 3 through August 5.

Jazz at the Zoo presents free live jazz concerts at John Ball Park every Monday through August 11. Bring a chair or blanket, or come early to get a picnic table.

The Celadon Concert Series presents The Muteflutes & Ribbon of Song (June 26), Slim Gypsy Baggage (July 17) and Chain Of Lakes (August 14), in an outdoor amphitheater on the grounds of a "new urban" community.

GRandJazzFest is a free two-day outdoor festival featuring a diverse lineup of jazz-inflected musicians from across the U.S. August 16-17.

Blues on the Mall is a series of free Wednesday night concerts in downtown's Rosa Parks Circle. Through August 20.

Lowell Showboat Sizzlin' Summer Concerts feature popular local acts in a variety of genres. Sit in the grandstand or bring your own chair or blanket to sit on the Riverwalk Green. Thursday nights through August 22.

Gun Lake LIVE 2014 features outdoor concerts in a beautiful lakeshore pavilion, Wednesdays through August 27.

The Standale Concert Series in Walker Community park offers free family-friendly concerts plus food vendors, kid's face painting and coloring contests, and more. Bring chairs and blankets. July 10 & 24, August 14 & 28.

Musical Theatre

Circle Theatre presents:
One Man, Two Guvnors - a rip-roaring farce that was the hit of the 2012 Broadway season. Performed in the round. July 10-26.
Monty Python's Spamalot, a hilarious musical "lovingly ripped off" from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail. August 7-23.
Carrie the Musical, a thriller based on the famed Stephen King book and film. September 4-20.

Bring your blankets, chairs, beer, wine and snack to enjoy a movie musical under the stars in downtown's Ah-Nab-Awen Park:
Rocky Horror Picture Show (R) - July 25

Grand Rapids Civic Theatre offers Disney's Camp Rock: The Musical, based on the hit Disney Channel movies. July 25 - August 3.

Sweet Symphonies

Picnic Pops features the Grand Rapids Symphony and select guest artists playing for you on the grassy slopes of Cannonsburg Ski Area. Pack up your friends, family and favorite picnic foods!

The Music of the Eagles (July 31- August 1)

The Grand Rapids Symphony kicks off its 2014-15 season with Beethoven's Fifth: An Artful Opening Night. "Part fusion with ArtPrize and part British," the music is inspired by visual elements. September 19-20.


Founders Brewing Company, the world's 3rd best brewery, hosts live local music in its taproom on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Grand Rapids Brewing Company, Michigan's first USDA-certified organic brewery, offers live music every Friday and Saturday.

H.O.M.E. at The B.O.B. is Grand Rapids' newest live music venue - a rustic, casual bar presenting America's most beloved musical genes: jazz, rock, country and blues. Thursdays - Saturdays.

Mojo's Dueling Piano Bar and Restaurant features a main-floor duo of multi-talented piano players and second-story dance floor with DJ.

See what strikes your musical fancy at The Intersection, GR's most enduring live music club. The Intersection hosts more than 40 performers in diverse genres.

Check out the lineup of independent acts at The Pyramid Scheme nightclub and bar in downtown GR. The Pyramid also hosts pinball tournaments and board game nights.

Downtown's Back Forty Saloon features live and local country music bands on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Tip Top Deluxe Bar & Grill presents a wide variety of concerts along with excellent food and drink.
