Garden Time
The sculptures are great. The Children's Garden is top notch for children of all ages. This is a world class venue and a must see if you are into gardening.

Meijer Botanical Garden is Great with a so-so sculpture garden
We went to the Frederick Meijer garden and enjoyed it as usual. Between seeing the Children's garden (seeing the children enjoy the great lakes, the topiarys, and all the beautiful flowers is just great fun. THe garden is blooming with the flowers, plants and all the beautiful trees make you feel like you are in a different world to enjoy. Then you see one of the sculptures and it drains all the beauty from your mind. Now you are in a world of rusty steel and iron and it makes you think of the sad state of Detroit. If I want to see rusty iron, I can go see the real thing on the east side of the state. This is West Michigan, a land of natural beauty. So disregard the bad art(?) and really enjoy the botanical garden, it is absolutely beautiful. ANd try to time your trip while the butterflies are there (April), it is wonderful
