A Summer of Science From the life cycle of a butterfly to the fossilization of a Mastodon, from the microscopic organisms of the Grand River, to the stars of a neighboring galaxy, the Grand Rapids Public Museum is the perfect place to explore science. And for six weeks this summer kids ages 5-11 can use the Museum as a science lab – digging into the mysteries of science; experimenting, learning and growing – all while having a great time in one of the area’s most history-rich environments.
