We'll begin our day at the new and improved Fulton St. Farmer's Market. Yes, it starts early... but we are going to beat the crowds and meet some producers! We'll taste products, enjoy the atmosphere, and discuss produce selection and shopping seasonally. Better yet... we'll pick up a slew of goods to take back to Uptown Kitchen to prepare a gorgeous West Michigan Spring luncheon. Make your way to Uptown to reconvene for a short demonstration, then into the kitchen we go to split into pairs and prepare our meal. We'll enjoy local greens dressed with Warm Bacon-Mushroom Vinaigrette and paired with Dancing Goat Chevre baked in Phyllo. Watercress Soup with Crème Fraiche celebrates Spring. For the main course, we'll enjoy Spring Green Risotto and Roasted Asparagus. The grand finale: Mint Ice Cream & Flourless Chocolate Cake. This will be the ultimate fun and fresh meal, with new friends and a new farmer's market.
