CARE has been introducing young audiences to the art of ballet since 1992. Each season CARE presents three ballets, each approximately one hour long. The ballets are condensed versions of classic ballets or original ballets based on children’s literature. The Grand River Wood Turner's Guild was formed in 2010 by members of the West Michigan Wood Turners and currently includes 74 members. Woodturning is a type of woodworking that creates wooden objects using a lathe. The guild meets every third Saturday of every month at East Kentwood High School.
