Grand Rapids has Spring Break activities and events for all ages!
Check out the Kent District Library system for a whole host of fun Spring Break activities and classes, including Drop-In Craft Time, Superheroes Away!, Chess Anyone?, Family and Preschool Storytimes, Very Hungry Caterpillars and much more - at library branches throughout Grand Rapids.
Dinosaurs Unearthed at Grand Rapids Public Museum showcases feathered animatronic dinosaurs that move and roar, plus feathered fossils, a kid's dig site, and more.
The West Michigan Whitecaps, a Detroit Tigers affiliate, play home games from April 21-27.
Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park is a great way for kids to burn off energy, with 130+ trampolines and wall-to-wall playing areas for Dodgeball, SkySlam Basketball and more. It's Toddler Time every Friday from 10 am to noon!
Griff's Icehouse, the official practice facility of the Grand Griffins, offers lunch-time and weekend open skates just north of downtown. Patterson Ice Center (southeast corner) offers open skating on its indoor ice rink throughout the week, including special "Tots & Tykes" times.
The 3 Mile Project is a tween/teen paradise, with indoor reball arenas, video game stations, indoor skate park, a craft & project room. and more. Thursday evenings are designated for 9th-12th graders, Fridays for 7th-8th graders and Saturdays for 5th-6th graders.
Grand Rapids Gymnastics offers open-gym activity for preschoolers on Friday (10-11 am) and all ages on Saturdays (1-3 pm).
A day pass at the Kroc Center lets kids swim, run the track, shoot hoops and climb a rock wall. Tuesdays from 9 am to noon are especially for Toddlers!
Jester's Court in the northwest corner of Grand Rapids includes a Toddler Court with inflatables, and enclosed jungle gym, obstacle courses, interactive games and more. Open play periods are for kids 12 years and younger, and teen nights cater to older kids.
