WMU-Grand Rapids comprises the largest regional location for Western Michigan University whose main campus is located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Two WMU-Grand Rapids' locations, the Beltline location and the Downtown location, serve the needs of area residents who are seeking quality education and professional development.
WMU offers more than 20 graduate programs in the following areas:
• Business and Engineering
• Teaching, Counseling and Administration
• Health and Human Services
More than 1,500 students are enrolled at WMU-Grand Rapids. The programs are designed for working adults who need to continue their education and professional development on a part-time basis. Programs can be completed entirely at WMU-Grand Rapids, and classes are offered primarily evenings or weekends.
WMU-Grand Rapids is located in two convenient areas of the city. The Downtown location is situated in the historic Cherry Street Landing district, two blocks south of the Van Andel Arena and the Beltline location is in the hub of Grand Rapids' southeast side.
