6TH ANNUAL EXPERIENCE PINK PRESENTS “SLEEP IN FOR A CURE”
Starting February 1st participating hotels will offer a hotel package to help raise funds for Susan G. Komen
Grand Rapids, Mich.—Experience Pink, a month-long series of events designed to help the Grand Rapids community join the fight against breast cancer and to help raise money and awareness for Susan G. Komen Michigan, has launched the hotel package “Sleep in for a Cure”. During the month of February, participating area hotels will offer a late hotel check out in exchange for a guest donation to Susan G. Komen.
Hotels currently participating in the package include:
- Amway Grand Plaza
- JW Marriott Grand Rapids
- CityFlatsHotel- Grand Rapids
- Downtown Courtyard by Marriott
- Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Downtown
- Prince Conference Center at Calvin College
“Susan G. Komen Michigan is excited to partner with Experience Grand Rapids and the Kent County Hospitality Association in launching Sleep in for a Cure,” said Alicia Brink, Community Events Coordinator with Susan G. Komen Michigan. “The funds raised through the month-long Experience Pink Campaign will go to fund local breast health programs and ground-breaking research.”
Since its inception in 2011, Experience Pink activities have generated over $34,000 for breast cancer awareness.
