Tesla is a Sacramento, CA based rock/hair metal band formed in 1981. The band has sold over 14 million albums over the span of their career. Their first album, “Mechanical Romance” came in 1986. On that album cycle they toured with the likes of David Lee Roth, Alice Cooper, Def Leppard and Poison. In 1989, the band released their second album “The Great Radio Controversy”. This album helped solidify the bands growing reputation and fan base, and produced five smash singles including their biggest hit “Love Song”.
