Where: 5th 3rd Ballpark starting point. Honor Ride rolls through Sparta, MI and ends up back at 5th 3rd Park.

Why: The Video below, from the American Fallen Soldiers Project, visualizes what will be the culmination of this years Freedom Cruise. Our 2018 recipient is another West Michigan Hero, Army Corporal Nicholas Roush of Middleville, MI who was Killed In Action on August 16th, 2009 while conducting a mission in Herat Province, Afghanistan. This Kent County event has been broadcast across the nation on the INSP Network and is an experience spectators will never forget. It is unprecedented that the Artist, Phil Taylor of the American Fallen Soldiers Project is coming back to Grand Rapids for the 5th year in a row, all the way from Texas. Phil and his wife Lisa consider West Michigan their second home and absolutely love this ceremony and community. Because of the nature of this project and time commitments, the artist has to turn down hundreds of requests. We are very grateful for his commitment to us. The event is FREE!
