Do you like food? Do you like wine? How about beer? If you answered "yes" to any of the above you are not going to want to miss this weekends International Wine, Beer and Food Festival.
In its 5th year, the International Wine, Beer and Food Festival is the place to be for foodies, wine connoisseur and beer lovers. The festival will offer around 1,200 local, regional, and international wines, more than a dozen Michigan microbreweries and food pairings to fill up your belly.
There will also be over 40 beverage seminars and many cooking workshops from the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education, Meijer, and a variety of local restaurants.
Riverfront Market, inside the convention center, has great shopping opportunities for all things food related. And I mean all things. Not only will you find gourmet foods, but also food accessories and even furniture items crafted from wine barrels.
The International Wine, Beer and Food Festival takes place at DeVos Place at 303 Monroe Ave. NW November 8-10th. Festival times are Thursday, 5-10 p.m.; Friday, 4-10 p.m.; Saturday, noon-10 p.m. Tickets are $15 to get in the show with individual tasting tickets costing $0.50 each.
