How long have you worked in the Tourism Industry?

    9 Years

How did you become a part of the Tourism Industry?

I moved to Las Vegas in 2008 two weeks after I graduated from College for a personal assistant/event planning job with 2 suitcases.  After a year in the position and learning a little more about Sin City, I applied to work at ARIA Resort and Casino.  My very first position was as a Guest Services Representative on the Opening team for ARIA and the rest is history.  I love hospitality and 9 years later it seems to like me too!

    Favorite Vacation Spot?

I love Las Vegas!  My favorite part of living there were the Staycations and restaurants.  Outside of Vegas I can’t turn down a good beach and beautiful ocean view, doesn’t really matter where.

One piece of advice or tip you would give to a first time visitor to Grand Rapids?

Grab a downtown dining map and start walking.  I love that Grand Rapids has a downtown that is walkable with plenty of great restaurants and breweries to explore.  I love food and there are more than enough places to go in this city.
