Jade Lowe
Convention Services Manager
aka Jade of all Trades
Jade works with in-state meeting planners and groups to ensure they have a successful event in Grand Rapids. She manages attendance-building campaigns to boost engagement and excitement, customizes on-site welcome and assistance services for each group, and employs every means possible to ensure that all attendees enjoy their stay with us. She performs these same duties for select national groups.
Jade began her tenure with us as a Community Relations Intern, in conjunction with her studies at Grand Valley State University. Her performance led to a part-time job as Services Assistant and the eventual promotion to her current position, where she has steadily expanded the scope of her responsibilities.
I love being able to promote and be a part of the growth of my city!
Bio Bits:
- Recommends the Torta de Milanesa at Tacos El Caporal – “it’s like they jam all of Hispanic culture into one sandwich.”
- Loves the glimpse of the city skyline from I-196 East just past the Lake Michigan Dr. exit – “especially at night.”
- Daughters are her favorite traveling companions.
“I love being able to promote and be a part of the growth of my city,” says Jade. She also enjoys the connections she’s making across the city and across the country.
