Ada/Lowell Beer Tour

The Ada/Lowell Beer Tour will take you to Gravel Bottom Brewery, Big Boiler Brewing & New Union Brewery. Gravel Bottom Brewery is just 15 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids in Ada, just a little further down the road in Lowell is New Union and Big Boiler! Big Boiler Brewing is the newest brewery in Lowell. The head brewer & co-owner, Matt Fouts, had years of experience in making excellent homebrews. Matt will be giving a brewery tour this day! New Union is the first brewery to open in Lowell. This brewery received their name from a Grand Rapids pre-prohibition brewery, Union Brewery. This brewery has excellent IPA's and plenty of other tasty choices for you non-hop heads. Gravel Bottom Brewing Co. was established in 2013 in Ada, MI. Their three-barrel system provides beer for six frequently changing taps with different styles regularly featuring homebrew and collaboration beers. If you are a homebrewer be sure to check out their homebrew supply store. ? ?Tour includes 12 large samples of beer, a private brewery tour at Big Boiler Brewery and transportation to and from the breweries with a knowledgeable beer tour guide. *There will be an opportunity for lunch at Big Boiler Brewing (the 2nd stop).
