Adult Workshop: Experimental Monotypes

Monotype printing is a versatile method of creating unique prints that encourage an element of surprise through experimentation. Following a guided tour of GRAM’s collection, create a variety of monotypes exploring both additive and subtractive painterly approaches. Experiment with non-traditional mark making tools, stencils and textures through various inking and layering techniques. Working with an acrylic plate, you will learn how to print with a press and by hand.

Open to ages 18+. Registration is required. Space is limited to 30 participants, so reserve your spot today. For more information, contact GRAM Studio at 616.831.2927 or gramstudio@artmuseumgr.org.

New quantity discounts! If you register multiple people or for multiple workshops, you can receive quantity discounts. Receive $3 off each ticket when purchasing three tickets and $4 off each ticket when purchasing four or more.
