These eight comics hail from the Midwest and are some of the hottest “up-and-coming” comedians around! They will vie for the title “2019 Gilda’s LaughFest Best of the Midwest Comedian” and a $2500 cash prize!

Vince Carone is coming off his 4th release I Plead the First. Performing since 2001, he has become known for his fast-talking, quick-witted, over-the-top rants, combined with a dominating stage presence.

Greg Coleman is an exciting comedian, actor, writer and host who made his national television debut along side Kevin Hart on Comedy Central. Coleman also tours as a host for the Nation Basketball Association, Major League Baseball & The X-Games for special events across North America.

Kelly Collette is a comedian and writer from Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a finalist on CMT’s Next Big Comic, and toured with the Nobodies of Comedy, a national theatre tour of comedians “you should know”.

DJ Dangler is a high energy goof whose act is equal parts insight and outrage. He’s club and college comic who believes people are mostly the same, especially when they’re laughing.

Adam Degi was in the Boston Comedy Festival in 2016 and just released his debut comedy album His Name Is My Name Too in September .His strangely endearing personality and ability to riff, rant and improvise sets him apart and makes every show unique. 

Chelsea Hood is a stand up comedian living in Chicago, IL by way of the comedy scenes in both Dallas, TX and Brooklyn, NY. You may have seen her on The CW Network’s Eye Opener, or CW33’s Nightcap.

T Murph has been featured on NBC’s Chicago Fire, Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, and the ReBoot of BET’s ComicView. Recently, he booked a recurring role on GET SHORTY opposite Chris O’Dowd.

Sam Rager can be described as the awkward girl next door who you give an obligatory nod to. She has been honing her comedy across the Midwest since 2012, touching on topics ranging from dating to death from a charmingly dark perspective.
