MLK DAY OF SERVICE AND SOLIDARITY 2021
Come join us for a day of Service and Celebration to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.! All events will be held in the Kirkhof Center and Cook-DeWitt Center. There will be a series of events happening throughout the buildings including a documentary and discussion, a panel on Gen Z activism, service projects, mural painting activity, and a food drive!
We are working to ensure that these events will happen safely in-person, but will transition them to a virtual format if needed to maintain the health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff.
To maintain social distancing, we ask that you sign up for a time slot for each event so that we can remain at our designated capacities.
The MLK Jr. Day of Service and Solidarity 2021, part of a national day of service, is coordinated by the Community Service Learning Center and in collaboration with Grand Valley's Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Executive Planning Committee.
