Warfare was revolutionized. The older archaic styles of conducting war were replaced with a rigid, mechanical, and brutal style. This "Military Revolution" was embodied by the dominant fighting force in all of Europe: the Landsknecht!
During the age of Pike and Shot in the 16th century; the Landsknecht led the way in military innovation and cutting edge tactics. And speaking of "cutting edge," the Landsknecht wielded an impressive collection of swords, polearms, and other hand-to-hand weapons, which will be showcased and explained by Jerry Berg and Natalie Budnick of the Swordsmanship Museum and Academy.
