Ele’s Place of Grand Rapids is pleased to present our Fourth Annual Fall Reception, a premier fundraising and networking event that supports our organization’s vision by generating funds to aid Ele’s Place in all aspects of operation. Ele’s Place believes that every grieving child in Michigan should have access to compassionate support following the death of someone they love.
Through a small and focused staff, dedicated volunteer base, and generous financial support from the community, all of our services can be provided to families free of charge. Because of this, it is imperative to continue to engage and educate our community partners, whose financial contributions ensure Ele’s Place can continue to provide care and support to grieving children, teens, and young adults all across West Michigan.
The Annual Fall Reception provides a unique platform for Ele’s Place of Grand Rapids to have direct and intimate communication with our contributors. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear a powerful testimony from an individual who received services from Ele’s Place as they share their personal journey with our organization. Our Keynote Speaker, Don Lubbers will also be speaking at the event. As the second and longest running president of Grand Valley State University, Don has strong roots in the Grand Rapids area and his personal experience with grief make him a very relevant partner of Ele’s Place. Attendees will also be hearing from our President/CEO, Dan Layman as he shares how Ele’s Place is evolving to continue to meet the growing needs of grieving children in West Michigan. Through these presentations, Ele’s Place will display how we are providing superior family services, not only meeting the needs of grieving families in West Michigan, but continuing to exceed their expectations as we provide compassionate support following the death of a loved one.
