Grantseeking Basics for Nonprofits

Designed for beginner fundraisers, this brief course shows how your organization can identify potential funders and prepare to seek grants. Using the Foundation Directory Online Professional, a database of 140,000 foundations and 3.2 million grants, students will compile a list of foundation prospects that match their organization’s needs. We’ll also briefly touch upon other funding sources, such as government and business, and learn about various guides to proposal writing.
