Great Lakes Anishinaabek Storytelling

Storytelling has a high position in the culture of the Anishinaabek. These tales and legends have within them lessons and history capable of touching the hearts and minds of all who come to listen. Storyteller and educator Victoria Voges from the Nokomis Learning Center will share traditional stories and wisdom handed down through the generations. The Nokomis Native American Cultural Learning Center is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of the history, arts, and culture of the Anishinaabe people—the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi tribes.
