Join Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha and the Great Michigan Read for a discussion and book signing at Grand Valley State University.
Dr. Hanna-Attisha will discuss, read from, and sign her book, "What the Eyes Don't See: A Story of Crisis, Resistance, and Hope in an American City." In it, she recounts her discovery of how the children and families of Flint were exposed to lead in their drinking water, and the ongoing work to begin recovering.
The event is free and open to the public.
It is presented in partnership with Grand Valley's Kutsche Office of Local History and Grand Rapids Public Library. For questions or more info, visit gvsu.edu/kutsche, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us at 616-331-8099.
