This workshop is designed to show you how easy it is to maintain your cutting boards. With proper care, your cutting boards, butcher blocks and charcuterie boards can last decades!
We will discuss why and how these kitchen necessities are made the way they are. We'll go over wood species selection, grain orientation / construction, and oil selection.
Then we'll discuss care and maintenance and why it's so important, even touching on possible repair options for those blocks that are severely damaged.
We'll finish the seminar by helping those attendees who chose to bring in their cutting boards for a tune-up. This will bring your cutting board back to a fresh new luster, ready for cooking with!
All attendees will receive a complimentary tin of our homemade Butcher Block Board Conditioner!
As always, expect to get a little dusty. This event will last roughly two hours.
