Featuring a Q&A with the film's Costume Concept Artist: Phillip Boutte Jr.  Taking place before the film. Brought to you by The Mosaic Film Experience. 

Phillip Boutte Jr. is a professional costume concept artist who has worked on films such as: Black Panther, A Wrinkle in Time, Inception, many Marvel films, & more. Originally studied at California State University where he received a BFA in illustration & a minor degree in film for production design. He is currently specializing in character development, costume concept art, & specialty costume design.

After the death of his father, T'Challa returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. When a powerful enemy suddenly reappears, T'Challa's mettle as king -- and as Black Panther -- gets tested when he's drawn into a conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people. Directed by Ryan Coogler. Starring Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong'o, & Michael B. Jordan.

The Mosaic Film Experience uses the platform of digital media to provide students with an opportunity to tell their unique stories and equip them with the critical thinking, collaborative and creative skills necessary for career preparedness. There are three aspects to Mosaic:
• The Mosaic Event: An annual interactive experience that provides students access to industry professionals through creative, career-inspiring workshops.
• Mosaic Mobile: An annual mobile film competition where films are shot, edited and entered on mobile devices by high school and college students.
• Mosaic Community: Events ranging from after-school curriculum to industry guest speakers and film screenings.
