Chris Wiser has been performing professionally as vocalist/guitarist and composing original music for more than 20 years, primarily in West Michigan. In the early 90's he was a member of several musical groups in the Grand Rapids area. With the Grand Rapids-based bands Soul Syndicate and Two Headed Sam, he opened for GRAMMY Award nominee Bad Company at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, Blue Oyster Cult at the State Theatre in Kalamazoo, The Storm at Val-Du-Lakes and has performed at most of the large live music venues across Michigan. For the last 15 years, Chris has performed primarily in the Grand Haven area and has established a local following based upon his versatility for performing songs from a broad spectrum of music.
Melanie was born and raised in Spring Lake, Michigan where she began singing and expressing her love for music at the age of seven. By age ten, she had performed in the musical Sweeney Todd with Tony Award Winner George Hearn and Tony Nominee Pamela Meyer. Melanie Graduated from Hope College with a B.A. in Musical Theatre. She studied opera in Buenos Aires, Argentina at Instituto Universitario Nacional de Arte and Hillsong College in Sydney, Australia. Since moving to New York she has performed at Birdland, The Blue Note, The Oak Room at The Plaza Hotel, The Carlton, as well as many other noteworthy clubs in the city. She sang on the soundtrack and appeared as a wedding singer in the movie “God’s Behaving Badly” with Christopher Walken and Sharon Stone. Melanie enjoys song writing, and her influences are Stacey Kent, Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, and Nat King Cole to name a few.
