Passport to Adventure Travel Film Series

Five films represent the 52nd annual Passport to Adventure, a travel film series. These movies are in stunning and often high-definition productions with the cinematographer on hand to introduce the movie and offer insightful experiences during the film making. The Travelogue is a talk or lecture, by the filmmaker on a travel destination, accompanied by a film. It takes viewers beyond popular tourist destinations to give a more authentic and in-depth look at local culture. Presenters often participate in the local and traditional culture wherever they go, acting as tour guides, and narrating in mostly unrehearsed sequences. Film dates are September 28: East Africa Safari, November 10-Tough Rides India, February 8- A Week in Paris, March 21- Our National Parks, and April 16- Guatemala: Land of the Maya. Tickets available online at our box office website or call 616-526-6282. Parking is best on the east side of the East Beltline on Calvin's campus and using the overhead crosswalk to walk over the East Beltline directly to the evening's venue.
