The Pediatric Hydrocephalus Foundation, Inc. is hosting the 3rd Annual Hydrocephalus Awareness WALK for Michigan on Saturday, August 5th, 2017 at the spectacular Wahlfield Park in Comstock Park, Michigan. The theme this is year is a Family Beach Day!

The event is hosted by Grand Rapid resident’s Jon & Donna West, whose 6-year-old daughter Willow has Hydrocephalus and has survived 17 brain surgeries. Willow has just authored her first children’s book sharing her story of her last brain surgery. Titled ‘Willow’s Last Surgery’, the book is available on and Willow will be signing copies of the book at the WALK on August 5th.

With a family style beach party, the event will have live music, raffle items, local vendors, fun games & activities for everyone! The featured event is the annual Awareness WALK around the park!

Serving as Honorary Chair of the WALK this year is Ms. Wheelchair Michigan 2016, Jamie Spore, who has Hydrocephalus.
