The Grand Rapids Art Museum and Grand Rapids Public Library have teamed up to present a fun family outing each month! All story time programs take place at the Museum and include story time, mini family exhibition tours, and an art project. Programs are for children of all ages, and last approximately 90 minutes. Registration is not required. Program participants meet on Level 2.
On November 21, discover how anyone can be an artist with the help of the Grand Rapids Public Library staff as they read the book Art & Max by David Wiesner. Then families can explore the exhibition David Wiesner & The Art of Wordless Storytelling along with a GRAM Docent as children see stories and creatures come to life in the featured artwork. Finally, the GRAM Studio will host an art-making activity to create a masterpiece to celebrate the night!
