The annual World of Winter festival is designed to take advantage of Michigan’s cold climate, provide interesting ways for people to enjoy the season and make Grand Rapids a better winter city - which makes Grand Rapids a better year-round city.

The 2021 festival happens through January and February and features a variety of FREE programming and activities for families and adults.

The Elevated Love Language project - led by Grand Rapids Poet Laureate
Kyd Kane Poetry
- will elevate the poetic voices of local artists. Short poetic expressions will be placed on billboards or projected onto buildings throughout Downtown Grand Rapids throughout February, the month of love.Current locations include: The BOB, Van Andel Arena, 20 Monroe Live. More to come soon.
