The Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park Amphitheater offers exciting outdoor concerts with nationally-known artists from June through September, with local artists appearing each Tuesday in July and August. It features terraced lawn seating and provides an ideal outdoor concert setting.

  • Getting Around the Venue: The Front Entrance has proximity-activated sliding power doors. The Front Entrance is flush with the sidewalk.

    The routes from the parking lots to the Front Entrance of the Main Building, through the facility, and between the attractions are wide and level.

    There are Men’s and Women’s multi-user style restrooms present in the Main Building and near the attractions. These have at least one accessible stall. There is a Family style restroom in the Main Building. During busy hours or large events, waiting lines may form to use the multi-user restrooms in the Main Building.

    The interior spaces of the venue are well lit.

    The indoor and outdoor spaces have bench and chair seating available.

    The Japanese Gardens attraction is an outdoor exhibit and has several routes that are uneven and narrow, or that have steps. Guests may need to find alternative paths to view the displays. The route to the Japanese Teahouse is very narrow and has a covered bench with a low roof that extends out into the path of traffic. The Overlook is on a hill, and the path spirals upwards towards the summit. There are no handrails or guards present.

    There is designated accessible parking present near the Front Entrance to the Main Building.
