EXPERIENCE GRAND RAPIDS TO HOST ANNUAL GROUP TOUR TO BENEFIT
AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY IN COLLABORATION WITH GAIL ANDRUS TRAVEL

Grand Rapids, Mich. – Experience Grand Rapids (EXGR) is collaborating with Gail Andrus Travel to create an annual tour to benefit the American Cancer Society. The tour is called Journey of Hope and will take place September 22-23, 2017.

“I’ve heard of other destinations that offer group tour trips to raise money to support an important cause,” said Mary Manier, Director of Sales at Experience Grand Rapids. “As a breast cancer survivor and a group tour industry professional, I wanted to bring my two worlds together.”

The tour will cost $199.00 per person double occupancy and $269.00 per person single occupancy. $48.00 per person will go to the American Cancer Society.

The itinerary for the Journey of Hope tour will include:
    • A reception at the Country Inn & Suites on East Beltline that will feature crepes by Mick Von Doxtater, American Cancer Society chef
    • A tour of Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, their ArtPrize exhibit and the upcoming Rodin exhibit
    • Downtown exploration of ArtPrize- a 19-day event where three square miles of downtown Grand Rapids become a clean canvas for artists all over the world, all free and open to the public

“We are glad to be a part of the Journey of Hope tour,” said Gail Andrus of Gail Andrus Travel. “Gail Andrus Travel will be arranging the trip and taking reservations. All proceeds from the trip will be donated to the American Cancer Society.”
