Welcome to
Mines Golf Club
Up North feel, located in the shadows of Downtown Grand Rapids
Ranked #20 in Michigan’s Best Public Access Courses, Golfweek 2013 America’s Best New Courses, Golf Digest
The course is now officially open for the 2024 season! The range and practice facilities are also both now open. The range is currently mats only due to the still dormant turf conditions. Both the course and range will be open on days where the forecasted temperature is above 40 degrees.
The Mines Golf Club houses 18 holes of rolling fairways and undulating bent grass greens. The course offers playability from four sets of tees, making your round truly exceptional.
The course gets its name from sitting 150 feet above gypsum mines that were utilized as early as the 1860s. The course features 110 feet of elevation change from the highest to lowest point on the course. Renowned architect Mike Devries and his ability to use the natural features and undulations, has created a unique golf course and “up north feel” set in a unique urban setting.
Conveniently located in the shadow of downtown Grand Rapids, the Mines is an ideal location for your group to get away while never actually leaving.
