Welcome to QuiltWeek 2023

September 13-16, 2023

Get ready to be wowed - Grand Rapids never fails to surprise visitors with the huge variety of things to see and do here: World-renowned art, museums and historic sites for cultural vacationers. World-class golf, recreation and beaches for nature lovers. Incredible farm-to-table restaurants for foodies and wholesome "playcation" fun for families.

Along with the great exhibits, classes and vendor hall that AQS QuiltWeek is known for, we’ve made some exciting changes for 2023! Quilters will find a fun, new Food Court this year located just outside of the show doors. And the Coffee Cart will have extended hours for afternoon treats.

Our downtown DASH shuttles now offer FREE service 5-days a week: Wednesday -  Friday: 7am - 12am, Saturday: 11am - 1am, and Sunday: 11am - 5pm. The free pink buses run about every 15 minutes and stop right outside of the convention center. Hop on to get to hotels, museums and restaurants. And speaking of restaurants, there are over 150 in the downtown area with many offering discounts for QuiltWeek visitors. Stop by the Experience Grand Rapids Information Booth in the Grand Gallery for details and maps.

Looking for more to do downtown? You can visit six fascinating museums, all within a few blocks of each other: Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, Grand Rapids African American Museum and Archives, Grand Rapids Art Museum, Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, Grand Rapids Public Museum and Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts.

See public art virtually everywhere you look. Download the Outdoor Arts Inspirations tour map for a guide to 27 prominent downtown sculptures and historic buildings. Take a GR Tag Tour of “Art Around the Corner.” Or just wander around with your eyes peeled!

Compare and contrast the beer styles at seven downtown breweries – then you’ll need to visit just one more local brewery to earn a Brewsader® t-shirt. You can complete your Brewsader® journey by exploring the West Side neighborhood only a few steps across the Grand River. Click here for more information!
