Riverside Park and North Monroe Routes: This bicycle day tour out-and-back takes you from Riverside Park up to North Monroe, with suggested stops along the way. Pick your destinations along this route that has something for everyone - outdoor attractions, family fun, delicious food and shopping!

Many hotels offer convenient access to the Grand River Edges Trail, which guides you along the banks of the Grand River through the city center – and links you to a 2.2-mile paved path in Riverside Park, north of the city, as well as the 92-mile Fred Meijer White Pine Trail. Follow a dedicated street bike lane west out of the city to access Kent Trails, a 15-mile paved path that winds through beautiful Millennium Park.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids is located right across from the Grand River and maintains a Bike Pump, Repair & Wash system for guests – so it’s a perfect home base for your biking adventure.

PedalGR leads regular bike tours around the city. The Greater Grand Rapids Bicycle Coalition serves up information and advocacy. The Western Michigan Mountain Biking Association provides off-road guidance.
