Kent Theatre
Built as the Hubbard Opera House in 1880, reinvented as the Emprise Movie Theater in the 1920s and renamed the Kent Theatre in the 1930s, this historic landmark now hosts second-run movies, plays, concerts, jam sessions, pageants and poetry readings. Deer Tracks Junction Adventure Park

One of Michigan’s longest running festivals, launched in 1936, the Red Flannel Festival celebrates the red “drop seaters” that were made at Cedar Springs’ Red Flannel Factory for many years. This quintessential small-town festival includes parades, a queen scholarship pageant, car show, 5K/10K race, art & craft show and more. Held the first Saturday in October every year.
Renaissance/Fantasy Fair
Historic fantasy fun is the order of the day for the family-friendly Renaissance/Fantasy Fair, which includes educational and entertaining booths and encampments in the heart of the city, as well as sidewalk sales on Main Street. In June each year.
Cedar Springs also hosts a trio of holiday events: Halloween Spooktacular, Cedar Springs Christmas: Mingle with Kris Kringle and New Year’s Springin’ Eve Ball Drop.
