Beer experts and readers honor Grand Rapids for fifth consecutive year
Grand Rapids, Mich. – Grand Rapids was designated “Best Beer City in the U.S.” for the fifth consecutive year in the 2025 USA Today “10 Best Readers' Choice Awards,” announced today.

According to USA Today, a list of 20 top contenders was curated by a panel of subject matter experts and USA TODAY 10Best editors for hosting the best beer scenes before being voted on by the public. Criteria include stellar collections of established and up-and-coming breweries, beer bars, brewpubs, beer festivals, and thriving homebrewing communities where novice brewers can get their foot in the door.
With more than 40 craft breweries within a 30-minute drive of Grand Rapids, locals and visitors alike have no shortage of choices when they want to sample local brews and meet up with fellow craft beer fans.
