Hannah manages a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment and retention, employee relations, workplace policies, benefits administration and compliance with labor laws to support EXGR goals and cultivate a culture of employee well-being. She developed her broad expertise serving as the sole HR representative (and eventual HR manager) of a local outpatient surgery center – a position she attained after graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources.
“I love engaging with the EXGR team and being available for support,” says Hannah. As a wife and mother of three young children, she’s also excited to be learning more every day about how Grand Rapids lets families Play Their Way, and to be privy to the inside scoop on exciting new developments and initiatives around the region.
Bio Bits:
- Hannah and her husband enjoy the Mediterranean cuisine at Bistro Bella Vita. “My mother's family is Italian, so pasta paired with wine is an easy favorite.”
- Once watched the city’s annual 4th of July Fireworks over the Grand River from Bridgewater Place, the tallest building in Michigan outside Detroit. “Unforgettable!”
- Michigan’s Mackinac Island, a 3.5-hour drive and short boat ride from Grand Rapids, has been a favorite vacation spot since her youth.
