Jessica spends her days identifying and pursuing groups and organizations that hold meetings or conventions, and then convincing them that Grand Rapids/Kent County is the perfect host destination for producing a memorable event. She knows what it takes to stage a successful event from her tenures with three of the area’s finest hospitality establishments: the Amway Grand Plaza, Curio Collection by Hilton (where she was a sales coordinator), Delta Hotels by Marriot Grand Rapids Airport (catering sales manager) and Reserve Wine & Food (private events manager).
Brimming with warm, friendly, positive energy – she likes to refer to herself as a “human golden retriever” – Jessica is thrilled to show off our city and county to potential clients. And if you need any dining suggestions while you’re here, she’s an expert – she graduated from GR’s Secchia Institute for Culinary Education and is a Level 1 Wine Sommelier.

- Recommends the New York Sour from Reserve Wine & Food. “Perfectly balanced and hits the spot!”
- Her favorite local concert venue is The Intersection – “they bring in a lot of really great bands and are always reasonably priced.”
Jessica’s favorite travel companions are her husband, Steve, and their dog, Annie, whether for a long drive to Munising in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula or a short jaunt to our own Belknap Park Lookout to enjoy “the best sunset view in the city.”
