Sulema Kiekintveld
National Sales Manager
aka Relationship Cultivator
As National Sales Manager, Sulema connects with meeting planners and industry professionals in the education, health/medical, scientific, engineering and tech fields across the country to spread the word about Grand Rapids. It’s a position she’s well prepared for, having joined EXGR in 2025 after stints as Cluster Director of Sales and Director of Sales positions in Grand Rapids. She has earned CMP certification with the Convention Industry Council and Hospitality Training Institute of Michigan.
Sulema also has insight into the food and beverage component of the meetings industry: she graduated from the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education at Grand Rapids Community College with an associate’s degree in culinary management and often experiments with new menu trends at friends and family outings. She loves to explore new hiking trails with her favorite travel companions, her husband and daughter.
