Theresa leads EXGR’s team of Airport Ambassadors at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport, mentoring and inspiring them to provide a positive first impression of the area to passengers and educating them on all things Grand Rapids/Kent County so they can provide any information and advice travelers might need. It’s a job that requires her to travel from EXGR’s downtown office to the airport 20 minutes away each day. “I love meeting new travelers every day,” she says.
Theresa came to EXGR from the Gilmore Car Museum, where she served as the Director of Retail Operations. Prior to that, she worked as a retail manager and buyer at John Ball Zoo. (Customer service is practically ingrained into her DNA at this point.) She’s also adept at tracking down answers for passengers, thanks in part to her education at Ferris State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
