Anahi joined Experience Grand Rapids as a Content Editorial intern in 2024 and quickly dazzled us with her talent, attention to detail and unfailing good cheer. A year later, she graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, and we promptly offered her a full-time position on the sales staff.

As Sales Research Specialist, Anahi is responsible for a variety of complex duties related to research and administrative support. Her marketing and social media experience, which includes positions with a Kalamazoo-based nonprofit marketing group, lends an invaluable perspective to our sales team. “Uncovering new opportunities that help bring exciting events and conventions to Grand Rapids is my favorite part of the job,” says Anahi.

Bio Bits:

  • She’s a brunch fanatic who singles out Lucy’s and Good Truckin’ Diner for particular praise. “They both have great food and Good Truckin’ Diner has amazing shakes, too.”
  • Visits Fulton Street Farmer’s Market regularly for fresh produce and flowers – “and to support local businesses.”
  • Loves to sit on the beach and read. “Thank goodness Grand Rapids is just a short drive from Lake Michigan!”
